WHAT WE DO
Since its inception, Upriserβs Glory Foundation (UGF) has been dedicated to silent yet impactful service, carrying forward its mission without seeking donations, publicity, or maintaining tallies of its charitable work. We believe that service to humanity must remain pure, selfless, and unaccounted, for true charity is not done to be displayed but to be felt in the lives it touches.
Over the years, UGF has frequently initiated and sustained a wide range of activities that directly reach the grassroots:
- Ration Distribution Camps: Regularly providing essential food supplies to needy families, particularly during crises such as the pandemic and inflation-driven hardships.
- Feeding the Poor Camps: Organizing community kitchens and meal distribution programs that ensure no one sleeps hungry.
- Water Distribution Drives: In Hyderabadβs scorching summers, UGF stations water camps at key junctions to provide free drinking water to travelers, laborers, and the homeless.
- Support in Marriages: Extending financial assistance to less privileged families, especially brides from underprivileged backgrounds, so they can marry with dignity.
- Community Security Initiatives: Donating CCTV cameras to police departments and residential localities to enhance the safety and security of neighborhoods.
- Emergency Relief: Swift response during floods, fires, or health emergencies β distributing clothes, medicines, and financial help to affected families.
- Youth Empowerment & Education: Conducting awareness drives for education, skill development, and creating a mindset of self-reliance among students.
- Sports Promotion: Building awareness that sports must be integrated into academics, breaking the myth that sports are a luxury only for the elite. We aim to create opportunities for children from all backgrounds to grow into disciplined and healthy citizens.
Our Principle of “Unrecorded Charity”
Unlike many organizations that highlight their activities in reports, figures, or publicity campaigns, UGF consciously refrains from keeping detailed accounts of its charitable initiatives. Our founder, Afshan Salam, firmly believes:
βThe left hand must not know what the right hand gives. True charity is measured not in numbers but in blessings and smiles.β
This is what makes UGF truly unique β out of every ten charitable works we do, only one is ever published. The remaining nine are carried out quietly, with no spotlight, no cameras, and no publicity. Our pride lies not in media coverage but in the genuine impact created in peopleβs lives.
